United States: Former President Donald Trump, against Nikki Haley, is looking for a win in New Hampshire’s Republican primary in his first one-on-one contest, while President Joe Biden is avoiding embarrassment by predominating in a Democratic primary where he is not even on the ballot.

Trump Eyes Second Win in 2024

Even after being convicted in multiple cases in which he was not proven guilty, the Former president is eyeing his second win in his bid for 2024 GOP nominations after defeating the rest of the contenders with a commanding victory in Iowa. Haley is hoping to capitalize on her popularity among independent and anti-Trump supporters looking for a new voice to lead the party.

On the Democratic side, Biden supporters have launched a write-in campaign on his behalf to avert defeat despite the fact that the contest awards no delegates because it violates the national party rules he advocated for.

Key Questions

DeSantis drops out of the election race. Will Trump be stopped after his drop? Trump wanted to take control over the GOP primary in New Hampshire against Haley. She sweeps Dixville Notch’s primary.

What is Dixville Notch?

Deep in New Hampshire’s North Country, a few civic-minded Americans gathered late into the night on Monday to cast the first ballots in the state’s 2024 primary, carrying on a decades-old practice with surprising roots.

Former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley received all six votes.
“A great start to a great day in New Hampshire,” Haley remarked after the vote count was completed. “Thank you, Dixville Notch!”

2024 presidential nominees

Polls are opening across much of New Hampshire as the state’s traditionally independent electorate to make a pick for the 2024 presidential nominees.

In the earliest published returns released early Tuesday, all six registered voters of Dixville Notch voted for Haley over Trump. The only New Hampshire resort town that decided to vote at midnight this year is the one located in.

However, the Democratic side is distinct. The reorganization of the voting calendar by the Democratic National Committee has put South Carolina first, but the New Hampshire Democrat insisted that his primary would occur on Tuesday. As Biden does not have a name on the ballot, his allies are doing their best to conduct a write-in campaign for him.
